BCS Championship Game
Anybody in for watching a little football on Monday night? Rumor has it there could be a pretty good game.
Ok, "Game of the Century 2" is almost here and the hype and excitement are starting to build. LSU's team buses are heading to New Orleans this afternoon around 5:00 Eastern and ESPN will be covering them live by helicopter! If you have a chance to tune in this afternoon, that should be just a fun start to several days of great buildup to one of the most anticipated rematches in college football history. LSU fans everywhere seem to be feeling GREAT about this game - this team has so many young players that have kept getting better and more confident and just play so great as a TEAM. Check out the final LSU BCS Championship hype video - warning, it will make you want to suit up for the Tigers, run through a wall and go stomp da Gumps!
We'll be doing a couple of raffles at halftime. One will be the special raffle for everyone who has signed up for the license plate drive, from the first person earlier this year to anyone who submits a form and payment by halftime, Monday night. The other raffle will be our usual game raffle, and we have some great items including the DVD "Ole War Skule" history of LSU football, and for the grand prizes, framed and mounted copies of the Baton Rouge Advocate front page & sports page from the Tigers big win! (Plan B would be gift certificates to Tiger Mania, but we won't need that, right?)
