SEC Championship Game
It's time to start playing the games that mean everything! The ride for the 2012 season of LSU football has reached its penultimate destination of Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Georgia Dome is likely to be decked out in red, given not only its proximity but the fact that UGA knew for sure that they were playing in the game a week ahead of LSU. Doesn't matter, of course - this team is the most battle tested, road warrior group of Tigers that's been seen in a long time. All the controversy this week over who might deserve to play LSU in the BCS game is a sideshow - they should start calling the Honey Badger the Tiger Badger because this year, LSU takes what it wants, and they want it all! Come join your fellow Tigers this Saturday as the football team takes its next step in completing the dream of an undefeated season and wins the SEC Championship. We'll be holding another raffle at halftime of this game - prizes will include laminated and framed original Baton Rouge Advocate front page and sports page from the 2007 BCS Championship Game plus other LSU items.
