Greetings, Tigers!
WOW... yet another dramatic, exciting win for
Les Miles and crew over Georgia. Both teams entered looking for
respect, and the TIGERS emerged with the prize. Were there some
mistakes, points left on the field, and frustration? Sure, but for the
3rd time in 5 weeks, the Tigers came through with the win in a very
hostile and pumped up environment. IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BE A TIGER!
Before moving on to the Florida game, I've just got to include a quote
from Coach Miles in his press conference today:
“This is the greatest football state in America, a place where the
women understand what it means and how to play it and the boys grow up
wanting to play for the Tigers. With the Saints winning and the college team doing right, it is a great fall in
Louisiana."
And now... as we all know, the level gets raised another notch this
week as the #1 ranked Florida Gators come to Tigertown. This is the big
one - it's going to be Saturday night in Death Valley and the stadium
will be rocking! Tebow, or not Tebow? All eyes are on this matchup of
top 5 teams. College Game Day is in Baton Rouge.
Please RSVP to lsutriangle@gmail.com if you will attend our gathering. It's a little
more important this week due to the game being in prime dinner time -
the more folks we have out, the stronger our position is, so please
come on out! Folks have been enjoying the new spot, we've got some LSU
band music livening things up and you know Tiger Stadium and LSU fans
everywhere will be feeling that crazy purple&gold spirit this
Saturday!
