Are you ready for some good ol' spicy Louisiana mudbugs? The Triangle, NC LSU Alumni Association crawfish boil is on Sunday May 20 - and it's time to get payments going. Attached to this story is a form with 2 pages - the first page should answer any questions about the what, when, where etc. and the second is the form that needs to be mailed in with your payment. We just took receipt of some nice items from Baton Rouge for the raffle, including a Les Miles autographed football and mini-helmet, and a Paul Manieri signed baseball.

It's time to laissez les bon temps roulez! The 2012 Triangle, NC LSU Alumni chapter Mardi Gras party is set, and we have a really great event planned! Papa Mojo's Roadhouse will be opening just for us on Sunday, Feb 19th from 4:00 - 8:00. Live music and dancing, an all you can eat buffet, and king cakes will be featured. More details are on the enclosed flyer & payment form.

Anybody in for watching a little football on Monday night? Rumor has it there could be a pretty good game.

It's time to start playing the games that mean everything! The ride for the 2012 season of LSU football has reached its penultimate destination of Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, against the Georgia Bulldogs. The Georgia Dome is likely to be decked out in red, given not only its proximity but the fact that UGA knew for sure that they were playing in the game a week ahead of LSU. Doesn't matter, of course - this team is the most battle tested, road warrior group of Tigers that's been seen in a long time.
